The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of undergraduate courses in American literature and culture, with a particular focus on the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Harry Ransom Center Research Fellowships (The University of Texas at Austin)

PhD in Literary History (Race/Representation/Justice/Cultural Activism) Overview Applications are welcomed from prospective students to research under the supervision of Professor Sharon Monteith, a Leverhulme Fellow writing a literary history of the US civil rights movement who has supervised c. 30 PhD students to successful completion. BAAS Conference Organisation Support BAAS invites scholars in any field of American Studies to apply for funding to support the organization and running of conferences, colloquia, and/or conference-related activity. It is not meant to fund the applicant's attendance at a conference. BAAS has access to these funds through membership subscriptions, publications, and particular grants-in-aid from other sources. The Conferences Sub-Committee will prioritize applications that fund postgraduate attendance and that publicize BAAS, the Journal of American Studies, and U.S. Studies Online at the event. JOB: Lecturer in History and Widening Participation Officer (University of East Anglia)

The School of History and the Widening Participation Department at the University of East Anglia wish to appoint a Lecturer in History and Widening Participation Academic Officer to enhance our growing team of academic specialists in Widening Participation. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to Widening Participation and have considerable experience in and knowledge of Outreach and/or Widening Participation across the student lifecycle. They will be able to demonstrate a specialism in History or a History-related subject and have experience at teaching at Undergraduate level. JOB: Associate Lecturer (Education Focused) in Intellectual History (University of St Andrews)
