Natasha Neary

Natasha Neary is a PhD student in the American Studies department at Northumbria University. She graduated from Teesside University in 2014 with a BA in History before completing her MA a year later at the same institution. NatashaÕs research interests include US propaganda, particularly during the Second World War, and developments in educational films during the first half of the twentieth century. Her thesis focuses on the 1950s economic series ‘Fun and Facts About American Business’, examining themes of Christian evangelicalism and corporate conservatism, alongside the role of educational films as propaganda in the postwar period.
