Part time (Maternity Cover) –salary circa £27,350 pro rata per annum

An exciting opportunity to work in the field of international education and cultural exchange. The post holder will coordinate our prestigious Awards programme for talented academics and professionals wishing to lecture, study and/or conduct research in the US.
The post holder will act as the first point of contact and support for UK/EU citizens applying for a Fulbright Scholar Award. They will implement a targeted promotional campaign to encourage applications for our UK Scholar Awards, coordinate all elements of the selection process, manage a portfolio of events for our UK grantees and offer pre-departure advice to outgoing grantees.
This role would suit a motivated, ambitious graduate with a minimum of 3 years project management experience in the educational administration sectors. A good understanding of UK Higher Education in particular is desired, as well as a genuine appreciation for the benefits of international educational exchange.
Strong written skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
We would be looking for someone to start week commencing 1st September 2015 working through to late August 2016.
