Job: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in American Studies (History/Literature) (University of Huddersfield)

The University of Huddersfield are seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in American Studies – specialising in either the history of the United States or American Literature post-1850.

A PhD with an established research profile and teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in one or both subjects are essential requirements for this role. You will have internationally significant publications as well as esteem commensurate with your career stage. You will be expected to contribute to the excellent teaching at all levels, as well taking a leading role in developing our links with north America, in both research and student recruitment. With extensive knowledge of the American higher education system and research culture you should also be prepared to work on developing links to facilitate international recruitment and collaboration.
