The Eccles Centre for American Studies at the British Library, in partnership with Research Councils UK, is looking to recruit an intern to develop a resource that will enable researchers to get the most out of the British Library’s collections related to American foreign policy. The resource could take the form of bibliographies, case studies, learning resources or a web exhibition. The intern will also be involved in engagement and publicity work to promote use of this resource. Read the full project description.
There is one placement available, and the competition is open to ESRC-funded PhD students only. The placement will be 3 months long and is expected to take place during the first half of 2016, subject to the student’s availability.
The deadline for applications in 28 August 2015. For information on how to apply, visit the RCUK website.
Any enquiries about British Library internships should be directed to Dr Katie Howe (katie.howe@bl.uk) in the first instance.
