The 60th annual conference of the British Association for American Studies (BAAS) will be hosted by the Department of Humanities at Northumbria University, Newcastle, 9-12 April, 2015.  The conference marks the sixtieth anniversary of BAAS, the fiftieth of the 1965 Voting Rights Act, and the 150th of the end of the Civil War.
