Eyes On Events – Dr. Yvonne Battle-Felton, Bookable-Space African American Lit Literary Salon

Bookable-Space African-American Lit-Literary Salon is a monthly, online literary event featuring African American writers. The salon is a warm, welcoming literary community made by and for individuals who are passionate about reading good books. New members are always welcome, so get in touch to find out what you need to do in order to join. In this interview, we speak to Dr. Yvonne Battle-Felton about her passion for organising events and her tips on how other people can get started. We also explore the importance of events that centre African American storytellers and creatives, particularly within the UK.
