The School of English at the University of Kent has a strong history of teaching in the field of American Literature and works closely with the Centre for American Studies to foster a thriving research culture.
In this fixed term role you will teach seminar groups, offer lectures and act as a module convenor for first and second year undergraduates, as well as teaching one of a range of final year special modules. You may also be involved in postgraduate teaching and contributing to the School’s MA programme.
You will be able to demonstrate your experience and competence in teaching American Literature modules as well as strong interdisciplinary interests. An emerging record of international excellence in research and publication is highly desirable.
