To compliment our “Women in America” special blog series for Women’s History Month our March #bookhour will be on the title EUPHORIA by Lily King. EUPHORIA is a fictionalised account of the anthropological field work of Margaret Mead in New Guinea in the 1930s and the controversial protofeminist ethnography that came of it.
Join U.S. Studies Online co-editor Michelle Green and several other scholars (TBD) to discuss EUPHORIA by Lily King on Tuesday 31st March 2015, 6.30-8pm GMT.
UK publisher Picador has been supportive of this feature and has kindly offered several free hardback copies of the title for us to give out to those interested in taking part in the book chat. Email usso@baas.ac.uk if you would like a copy.
All are welcome to join in the chat through the hashtag #bookhour
