British Association of American Nineteenth Century Historians (BrANCH) Postgraduate and Early Career Workshop

The Workshop provides a forum for the constructive consideration and discussion of thesis chapters, potential journal submissions and conference papers. Submissions are encouraged for individual papers from postgraduate and early career academics working on all aspects of US history in the long nineteenth century. We intend the workshop to become a valuable medium for young scholars to bring exciting new scholarship to the table. The workshop also provides an excellent opportunity for those of us at the early stages of our academic careers to meet up outside the annual BrANCH conference. Limited funding is available to subsidise the travel of those presenting their work. The papers are circulated ahead of the workshop.
