Created 60 years ago in the aftermath of WWII, the US-UK Fulbright Commission plays a key role in facilitating transatlantic cultural understanding and educational exchange through their prestigious scholarship programme, as well as our student advisory service. Their work to create globally-minded ambassadors impacts public diplomacy around the world, as well as the lives of the individuals who benefit from their programmes and services.
They are currently recruiting for a Communication Officer and Educational Advisor to promote US-UK exchange through press, promotional campaigns, online activities (including website and social media) and outreach presentations. Generally speaking, they are looking for colleagues with strong communications skills, as well as experience managing events and/or advising students. Given the mission of their organisation, candidates with experience with the US higher education system will be at an advantage. Please note applicants must have the prior legal right to work in the UK.
Salary & Benefits: The starting salary for this role is approximately £27,000 (incl. London weighting)
Position Length: This is a fixed 6 month contract with potential to extend.
