Birkbeck College London is looking for an Associate Lecturer A to teach the first (Autumn) half of the undergraduate module “The United States in International Politics” and the first (Autumn) half of the postgraduate module “American Foreign Policy.” These are full-year modules that run from 6-8pm on Tuesday and Friday, respectively, and the candidate is expected to teach the Autumn half only (8 weeks). The post holder will deliver lectures and run seminars/workshops and mark the students’ coursework. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach core themes in US foreign policy at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with a strong background in international relations and/or US foreign policy.
