Sugar in the Blood: A family’s story of slavery and Empire. A talk by Andrea Stuart (Canada Water Library, London)

Sugar in the Blood sees Andrea going back to 1630 to follow the thread of her own family’s involvement with the sugar trade through successive generations, telling a story of insatiable greed and forbidden love, of abuse and liberation.

Andrea’s talk will be followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.
