Event Reviews are at the heart of USSO’s publishing program and offer a fantastic way to engage with the work produced at conferences. They offer our contributing authors a perfect first publication and a helpful networking tool while also allowing those who couldn’t attend to still benefit from our authors’ insights and opinions. Best of all, our reviews allow you to discuss the angles, interpretations, and critical takeaways that interest you!
Submissions should be 800-1,200 words, although we also welcome extended reflection pieces and photo essays, video essays, and other ways of reflecting openly and creatively on your experiences of BAAS 2023. To read examples of reviews from BAAS 2022, please click here:
