This week’s Eyes on Events sees the continuation of our new sub-series ‘Eyes on Exhibits‘, a special series in which we’ll be previewing exciting upcoming events from the world of arts and heritage. This is the second part of our two-part interview with Christopher Riopelle, Neil Weistreich curator of post-1800 paintings at the National Gallery in London. We discussed Winslow Homer: Force of Nature, an exhibition running at the National Gallery until January 8th and focused on Homer’s transnational career and his depiction of humanity’s relationship with nature. We also heard more about the National Gallery’s collaboration with the Metropolitan Museum of Art and learned Christopher’s advice for engaging in the arts sector.
